Long Description
I'm just wondering what style this appears to be and the approximate era it was built in. I'm not particularly interested in its value as much as I am the history of it. It was painted white and is currently stripped, sanded, and without hardware except for the hatbox's door hinges. The wood on the drawers, sides, and "hatbox" is veneer. It has a matching vanity. There are no visible markings on either piece of furniture, save a hand written "408 12" on the back of the vanity which could be from any number of places, a refinisher or auction house, the dovetail joints are four per drawer, triangular, and appear very uniform, so probably not handmade.
