Long Description
I know that the table was purchased by my great grandmother . Â I believe the wood to be either Mahogony or Maple....it's completely solid wood with no new pieces. Â There are two release under the table at both ends allowing two extensions at both ends from a crank in the center of the table that you constantly turn around until the liefs are completely out and then the cranks lock into place.
There is a signature on the bottom of the table but sorry i forgot what it is.... I saw a piece almost the same in the Museum of Art in NYC circa 1700's Gregorian but I have no idea if this table is from that era or if it's a copy....no idea..
