Long Description

The desk is adorable and I only use it for decorative purposes. It is not real sound as far as being able to use it. It needs some tightening in the mostlly the legs and adjoining places. I was given to me by an antique store owner but I did not receive any information with it. Also the piece was stripped of any coating. I painted it red just before Christmas because it fits with my decour. I certainly would love to get some information as to when or where it was made and the value if possible.

Re: Childs Desk
This piece actually dates from the second quarter of the 20th century, it looks older than that because it's in the Colonial Revival style which is based on American Colonial furniture made 1620-1780. Not much value though in "As is " condition, comparable desks often sell at auction for less than $50.00
Re: Childs Desk

Thank you so much Joy. I appreciate the information that gives me some answers. I do love it though it isn't worth a lot and since I have painted it red it really does look pretty.
