"Bent Rims Manufacturing (?) - #345"
We bought this set from an antique dealer at a "flea market" for $1,000 in 2009.The only distinctive markings I have been able to identify on the underside of the table are: "Carolina Panel Company - Lexington, N.C." and "Bent Rims Manufacturing(?) - #345. There is a large "No 95" stamped(?) on the underside of the tabletop, as well.Unfortunately, the date/year is "conveniently" missing from the "Carolina Panel Co." stamp, so I'd appreciate help dating the piece. I believe the dealer from whom we bought it said it was from the 1920s, maybe???The pedestal table is an oval approximately 38"-wide x 54"-long (with two 8.75" (9"?) extension leaves). There are two armchairs and four sidechairs with upholstered seats.I believe the wood is mahogany. The set had been somewhat restored before we bought it. It is still in fairly good condition, considering it has survived two military moves and two young children. We are interested in selling the set, and would like to know what a "fair asking price" would be.[This is a random guess, but maybe it's of the "American Empire" era (?) -- according to this website: http://www.connectedlines.com/styleguide/style14.htm]
