Long Description
2 tiered base in classic capodimonte form, unusual has no feet, piece too havey had to havev double base. Â Bottom tier of lamp with angels and nympths, column and bulb ornate swags and gold leafing, second teir wedding of god and goddess with nympths and cupids, two angry angel finials at top. Â Third tier more angels and cupids. Â Original shade but in tatters. Â
History
My grandmother bought this piece for her home in Philadelphia brand new, gave it to my father, who had it on display, when they emptied the house on Phil Alena Street. and it came to me when he passed away last year.
