This is a Berkey & Gay wood china cabinet that I'm interested in knowing a value & info about.I can find very little about berkey & gay and have found some pieces online but none come close to this design. We have the matching buffet and large dining table with 6 chairs. There is the round metal lable inside the drawers saying Berkey & Gay and all three pieces have the metal lables. The condition of the cabinet is very good with some wear around the ornate drawer pulls. The key entry is missing the key and you open the door using the key because there is no handle as was made this way.The table & buffet does need the tops to be refinished but besides that in great condition. My wife & I just love this china cabinet and think it's made of burled walnut but not real sure.I bought the 3 pieces for $5 at an auction in Illinois. What can someone tell us about these 3 pieces or atleast the china cabinet, thanks in advance.
