11 peice antler vanity set, includes... beveled hand mirror (stunning), horse hair clothing brush, plastIc ? bristled hair brush (missing some bristles), 2 polished glass powder containers ( small chip in one), shoe horn, tweezers, leather buffer, 2 finger nail accesories?, and button hook. Cannot find any info on it. It was handed down to me from my Aunt. We live in a very small community in Eastern Oregon. I've asked the one local antique store and he informed me that this item is not celluloid nor faux wood. It's heavy and he did not know what it was. He said it's been very carefully made and is so rare he does not know anything about it. It's an 11 peice set, 6 of which have sterling emblems. No other makers marks. Just sterling, referring to a purer sterling. Simular sets are said to be late 1800s to early 1900s. Cannot find anything online as to where this came from, who made it, when it was for sure made, or if it a complete set. I'm completely stumped over this beautiful set. My heart longs to know it's history/value. I've found a simular 13 peice set on line, but it had a different marking. Found simular indavidual peices as well, with no specific information. Please help!!!
