Long Description
I found a Victorian handcarved 1890's dual chair on the curbside. Carved face of an Angels face and wreath around the head. Some breakage on one of the sculptures (2). A break also on one of the inside legs. This consists of two corner chairs joined together by each chairs right arm; side by side. The right handrest on each chair meet giving the connection a s-shape between the two; one facing east the other, west. Handcarving of leaves on the arm of each and a harp on the handles; the Angels head is centered on the back, top of chair. Both chairs have a 4 inch thick paisley print. I saw a single corner chair on ebay, identical look of the one I have. Â

Re: antique furniture
These are called a "tete e tete", examples like this date from the late 19th Century through the 1920's . Values depend on condition, they peaked in value during the 1990's along with the trend for Victorian decorating, values have declined a great deal since then. We retail them in the $300-500.00 rnage if in good condtion.
