Long Description
Im trying to figure out exactly what i have. Â There is a worn out sticker on the bottom of the piece that says Rockford Frame & Fixture company and a possible date of 12/6/15. Â the sticker also includes the cabinet makers name first letter of first name looks to be a C or a G and last name first letter looks to be an A. Â Pictures arent clear of the sticker so i wont attach. Â I inherited this piece from my Grandmother who purchased it new. Â Please look past the clutter in the pic. Â Any help confirming what exactly it is and a value would be greatly appreciated.

Your cabinet dates from the early years of the 20th century and looks to be either tiger maple or quarter cut oak, hard to tell from the image. Both woods were used a great deal duringt this period, the style is generically called "Colonial Revival" and most manufacturers produced a line in this style. We'd retail one like this for about $800.00 these days, they used to go for over $1200.00 back in the late 1980's.
