IĀ have three wooden dolls. Each have moveable arms and legs. Looks like some kind of string or elastic material is used to makes them moveable. They are hand painted and each of their ourfits appear handstiched.Ā They all have blond hair glued to their heads in a fashionable manner. They are all wearing hats and stand 7" tall (not including hat height). Each othe ones in dresses also is wearing full body white undersuit that makes it look like their have undergarments on.Ā Their clothes are sewn on and can't be removed.
IĀ am not sure when or where these dolls were made, my Grandmother lived in the NE United states, but traveled abroad fequently. IĀ can't find any makers marks or identifying marks on any of them. IĀ may be wrong, but looking at them the one in the orange dress seems looks a little olderĀ than the other three - just by looking at how her clothes and face painting is in comparison to the others.
IĀ have had these dolls most of my life, so IĀ know they are old. Just would like to know more about them and their value before IĀ decide to sell or keep them.
