I am no expert, yet, that appraisal note is signed and dated by the "Appraisor" on December 15, 1952. Â I think this is when it was appraised and not it's origin date. Â Thus, it could be a bit older (these are still in production to this date, by the way) Â However, this piece has a unique marking that I've not seen in current or recent productions. Also, it is not a "Chinese Bell".. Â it is a carved Chinese Jade pendant in "Bell" Â **design**.. Â I would say that this was appraised on the above date and it could have been produced at that time as well.. Â however, it could have also been produced before that time..Â
