1940s Bernhardt dinning suite

Distinguishing marks: 
Duncan Phyphe double pedstal legs on table, harp cut out on chair backs and hutch, brass plate from Bernhardt furniture on all pieces.

Dimensions: 
The table has one leaf and has 6 chairs one of which is an arm chair. The server has three middle draws and two side draws, one with velvet for silverware, the server also has two side doors. The hutch has one lg swing door with wood lattice set on top of glass (inside) bottom has three middle draws with two side doors.

History: 
This item was my grandparents first dinning room set bought by them when they first married in September of 1940. They purchased it at Paynes furniture company in Boston , MA. This was given to me by my grandmother. The set is in it's original condition which is excellent to mint condition.

Values for 30'-40's suites varies considerably depending on condition and style. Most Federal Revival style suites in good " As Is" condition sell for about $1500.00- $2000.00.
