purchased this beautiful womens designer ring at an estate sale a couple of years ago near champagin il. The woman I bought it from was 40ish, and was getting married so selling off things at her house that were of no interest to her, including this lovely ring. She said her EX fiance purchased it from her now deceased father who dealt in fine jewlery from estates etc. I believe she said he traveled a lot to do appraisels and locate select pieces. Anyway...she had no use for it anymore & had it laying in a box with some costume jewlery ungarded in her kitchen..it of course caught my eye, & I went home to get my husband to come look at it with me & bring our jewlers loop. He wasn't sure as it needed a good cleaning, but I felt like it was worth the $100. price tag she had on it....though I decided it's toward the end of her 3 day sale, I think I'll offer the $40.00 cash I have in my pocket & to my surprise she took it. Well I had a local jewlery store send it in to be cleaned & tightened a couple of loose diamonds, they also tested it and the diamonds are real. that was another $40.00, so I have a grand total of $80. invested in it. There are a total of.. 24 Round diamonds & 6 Baguette strips. Inside it is stamped 14K on one side & on the inside of other..is a little exclamation mark or something can't quite make it out and the letters..ADL. shown in one of the pics. From my on line research I believe the ADL stands for, Abraham David Loewenstark. But If anyone out there is familiar with this style of ring I'd love to know..#1 Approximate age...(#2) where it was made at...#3 Approximate appraisel value...Thankyou in advance to anyone who may be able to offer some help with this.
