Antique Mourning Ring

It's a Mourning Ring I purchased for 30.00, it tests at atleast 14k but I don't know a time period or a possible maker (No hallmarks)

We are just looking for any information? I can't even determine a possible date? If you have any info or any good guesses as to when this was made, who could have made it or anything would it would help out a bunch :)
