I remember yrs ago she told me it was worth lots of money. She had two Grandfather Clocks and told me this one was the most expensive. I'm not sure how she knew that or how she came about its possession. The key is jammed in the lock but the key is intact. I believe this clock is German, but again, not really sure.
Looks like a thin cherry type, dark wood with patina
On a chain the best I can make out are FMS with what looks like an eagle
